Welcome to the website of Jiří Mikoláš, board game designer and independent publisher from Czech republic (Prague). I started the business in 2002 and since then I have completed plenty successful projects (more than 11 commercial titles and more than 13 projects for companies and institutions). Till 2006 I have focused my attention mostly on educational games and custom made games per order. I started to publish purely commercial games in 2007. By now I finished more than 25 games in total.

Target groups of my games are especially families and young people from about 10 years who like to enjoy playing with friends and who prefer an intelligent amusement and humour than games with complicated strategies and abstractions. I tend to make funny games with stories and peculiar atmosphere. I emphasize especially communication and imagination in my games. I would like to hear loud laugh when you play my games. I dont like games where you sit quietly on your chair and carefuly count your recieved material.
